Dr. Jeffrey Steed, MBA
Executive Director
Dr. Jeffrey Steed joined the Louisiana Baptist Foundation as Executive Director in April 2020 after serving at the Southern Baptists of Texas Foundation as Director of Planned Giving. He has worked in the area of planned giving for over 17 years and investment management for 18 years. Formerly, Dr. Steed has served in ministries and higher education including serving as the Vice President of the Arkansas Baptist Foundation in Little Rock. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and MBA in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Steed is a teacher, preacher and author of articles written for Christian Leadership Alliance, Church Business, Church Solutions, ECFA and Philanthropy Journal. He is married to Shana and they have two children, Corey and Whitney.
Kevin Brown, CPA
Controller
Kevin Brown joined of the Foundation staff in August of 2021. He comes to the Foundation after 25 years in governmental accounting and 11 years in public accounting prior to that. Kevin grew up in Alexandria and is a graduate of Louisiana College (1985) with a degree in accounting and a minor in Economics & Finance. He has been married to LaDonna since 1984. They have been blessed with three children: two sons, Skyler (Courtney) in Pineville and Tanner in Holloway, and one daughter, Tayler (Zack) in Effie. They also have two granddaughters. Kevin attends Philadelphia Baptist Church where he has taught an adult Sunday School class for 16 years. Kevin enjoys reading, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
Tami Willis
Assistant Controller
Tami Willis, a native of Alexandria, came to the Foundation in 1994 from public accounting. She attended Louisiana State University at Alexandria. Tami and her husband, Kenneth, have two children: Courtney (J.B.) and Chris. They have also been blessed with two grandsons. They are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Alexandria. Tami enjoys reading, crafting and spending time with family.
Jared Price, J.D.
Director of Gift Planning
Jared Price joined the Foundation in October 2022 as its Director of Gift Planning. He received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Southern University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University at Alexandria. Throughout his legal career, Jared has primarily practiced law in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and church law. He and his wife Aimee have four children: Adeline, Daniel, Nathaniel, and Amelia. Jared and his wife are members of Alpine First Baptist Church, where he serves as an elder and the church administrator and she teaches at Alpine Christian School.
Kim Deville
Administrative Coordinator
Our Administrative Coordinator is Kim Deville. She joined us in February of 1999 and keeps our front office running smoothly. Kim is a native of Poland, La., and is married to Ron Deville, who is retired adaptive P.E. teacher for Rapides Parish Schools. Besides her full-time job here at the Foundation, she and Ron stay busy with boating, fishing, and most any other outdoor activity. Ron and Kim have three grown sons -Taylor, Chase, and Matt. Kim and Ron are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Alexandria where they are active in Divorce Recovery ministry.
Leah Mayeux
Administrative Assistant
Leah Mayeux joined the Foundation as an administrative assistant in August of 2022. She is a native of Alexandria but now resides in Marksville. She comes to the Foundation with over 10 years of retail banking experience. Leah is married to Michael P. Mayeux II and they have five children: Bailey, Ethan, Noah, Tyler, and Annabelle. They are members of Vick Baptist Church in Vick, LA. Leah enjoys spending time with her family, thrift shopping with her husband, and volunteering at her church.
Delaina Walley
Communications Coordinator
Delaina is a 2023 graduate of Louisiana Christian University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in graphic design. Delaina married Michael Walley in February 2022, and they live in Alexandria with their two dogs. In her free time, Delaina enjoys creating, writing, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family. Delaina joined the Louisiana Baptist Foundation as an intern in January 2023 before becoming the Communications Coordinator in June of the same year. Above all else, Delaina’s ultimate career goal is to use creativity and communication skills to minister the love of Christ to others.
Jessica Willie
Gift Planning Assistant
Jessica joined the Foundation in October 2023 as its Gift Planning Assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Christian University in 2013. Jessica is married and has four children. She and her husband are members of Alpine First Baptist Church.
